March is Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month

Ovarian Cancer Action are asking everyone to get involved and make some noise to help raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of Ovarian Cancer.

Ovarian cancer is the UK’s deadliest gynaecological disease and with no screening process and research indicates that 90% of women do not know the four main symptoms of ovarian cancer shows just how important awareness is in the fight against ovarian cancer.

Important infographics and a symptoms poster are available on their website.

To round off the awareness month they will be holding Wales first Ovarian Cancer Action “Walk in her name” event by walking 5km around Cardiff Bay Barrage on Sunday 26th March. If you would like to get involved or organise a walk in your area please get in touch www.ovarian.org.uk

If you would like more info, an awareness talk or more information about our training workshops please get in touch with Alicia Alicia@ovarian.org.uk
