International day of Co-operatives celebration – Friday 30th June 2017

The International Co-operative Day / International Day of Co-operatives is celebrated on the first Saturday of July every year. Its aim is to increase awareness on co-operatives and promote the movement's successes and ideals of international solidarity, economic efficiency, equality, and world peace.

They will be starting the celebrations a day early by welcoming Koichi Sato from the Japanese Consumer Co-operative to the next Forum meeting on Friday 30th June.  Koichi will be attending the main Forum meeting and a light lunch will be provided afterwards. All are welcome, please let them know if you are planning on attending (along with any dietary requirements) as space is limited. If you would like to Skype in to the meeting please let them know.
