Welsh NHS Confederation’s next networking seminar

A View of… Medicines Management: Strategy to Practice

9.00am to 12.00pm on Friday 29 September 2017 Muller Hall, All Nations Centre, Cardiff

Due to the current context of the NHS in Wales, it has become apparent that medicines and their management will play a vital role in providing a prudent and sustainable health care system across the country. While there are a wide range of initiatives currently undertaken by Local Health Boards and other partner organisations, the entire system must be able to work together to ensure the best, safest and most convenient care for patients in Wales.

The Welsh NHS Confederation welcomes anyone with an interest in medicine management to attend the seminar, which will further investigate how we can best balance prescription services and treatments in a way that considers their effectiveness, safety, tolerability, simplicity and cost. This event is an opportunity to hear from speakers who will offer their insights and expertise into key aspects of this topic including local priorities and initiatives, strategic drivers and finally a specific view from the frontline.
